How y’all doing?  Alright I know I have taken a marketing 101 approach of late, but I believe it is to your benefit!
The purpose of home parties is to sell!   The home party model of business is such that you have people come to your home, for a home party.
You the home party consultant will do a demonstration and then your guests will buy product from the catalog.  The common question that is on the minds of most people is this, how do increase home party sales?
One method is definitely learning how to book home parties by the dozens so to speak.  To do so you must understand the cost to satisfy vs price connection.

You see in direct sales and home parties business,  price is not just the sticker price or the price invoiced. It goes deeper. For example, what about terms?  For example what is the money back guarantee for your products?
You have to realize that price - measured in dollars - is one part of the cost to satisfy.  For example when conducting in home parties, you must consider the price of gas!  That in itself is a great deterrent and does affect home party sales!  So how about hosting an online party?  How would that affect the cost to satisfy?
The most difficult obstacle that I find home party consultants grappling with is the idea that if someone is willing to buy the pricey estee lauder or clinique products, they should have no problem with Arbonne RE-9 Kits or Mary Kays Time Wise products?
Now this is a clear cost to satisfy issue which evidently trumps price!
So how do you make both price and cost to satisfy work in your favor?  Understand that people buy for 3 reasons:

1.    increase pleasure

2.    decrease pain

3.    status quo
Relying strictly on price to compete you are vulnerable to competition - in the long term.
