nancy sutherlandI loved this book. It was very informative and insightful. As one who built a successful Home Party Plans Business without much guidance from my sponsor I wish I had this book years ago. This one book can replace a whole book shelf full of books I have on MLM's, party planning, direct sales, compensation plans etc. The introduction and summary for each chapter is wonderful. I cannot say enough about this book! The best read & time investment I have ever made.

Hello, I was very interested to read your blog about home party plans - a small rant. I am the founder of an Organic skincare company in Australia (Maia Organics) and the opinions you voiced are extremely valid. I have tried to encompass ranges of skincare suitable for all age groups specifically as I didn't want to fall into the trap of having "just a teenager range", or "just an older ladies" range etc etc. Thank you for posting such a well written and informative blog. You have certainly helped me with my target market and given me valuable insight into future potential customers

Hey Patricia, I don't have a home party plan business, but I did want to know the QVC trick to increase sales. I watch QVC all the time just to learn more about how to sell things. I thought I was the only one. lol And I'm loving your blog! =)

My wife Mimi has done home parties in the past, and to be perfectly honest, I got out of the house as quickly as possible before it was flooded with a bunch of people and things that I was not interested in. I would definitely stick around for a "man's theme" especially if I knew other men would be there. Thanks Patricia for not forgetting about the men!

I've have been in and out direct sales/home party plans. I would join a new company with the honest intention of really wanting to take off opportunity. I started doing a lot of reading, and of the 5 books I purchased, this is the one I keep going back to.
LOTS and LOTS of ideas and suggestions. You can't (And don't want to) do them all, but great ideas for every kind of product you sell- I sell

I've benefitted most from the Craigslist section and the social network marketing section. Gave me more clarity on what I was supposed to do. Keep my Craiglist ads simple and give the reader a "call to action". Make my Social Networking sites more about getting to know people and mentioning my products, rather than just blabbing about my products all the time and hoping someone is interested. People will be more interested in me, if I'm interested in them. I saved the emails about YouTube...I'm not quite there yet. I've got 3 kids (one is a newborn) and 3 dogs running around...so making and posting a YouTube video at the moment seems a bit daunting. LOL. I'll come back to that one later. What benefitted me most of all was the overall positive tone of your videos and emails. I also like the advice you gave, can't remember if it was on your site or one of the emails, but to "work on yourself first, then your business". That's so true.
